Fondation Louis Vuitton by Frank Gehry in Paris
August 2016.
This summer I went to visit the new cultural art center, Fondation Louis Vuitton designed by Frank Gehry.
This American architect well known for his amazing structures, Bilbao museum being one his masterpieces among others, has been inspired by this site immediately.
It is located next to the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris. The outer carapace of glass inflates the building like a sophisticated sailboat navigating the sea.
Right now, the French artist Daniel Buren has done a temporary installation of colorful patchwork over the roof, with an array of multicolored filters; it is called the Observatory of Light.
I encourage everyone to visit this incredible architecture on their next trip to the French capital.
